About Us

Founded in 2002, Hacom has been a forerunner in providing 'leading edge' technology to popularize open-source applications. We described a method to run Debian Gnu/Linux in a 32MB Compact Flash on the OpenBrick-E in late 2002.

Since then, we have grown. Our customers now include the open-source community as well as businesses including Fortune 500, Financial, Institutional and educational customers.

Our mission is to provide hardware and associated supports to the open-source community, and OEM, ISV, enterprises, small, medium and large businesses, and to assist them in implementing their Linux-based applications.
